Gatwick Airport has two terminals:
The North Terminal handles most British Airways flights, Delta Air Lines, some overseas airlines' services plus a limited number of charter flights.
The South Terminal handles the bulk of Gatwick Airport's traffic serving domestic, international and charter flights.
There is a free transit running every 3 minutes (peak) and every 6 minutes (off-peak) between the two terminals.
Gatwick Airport North Terminal
Check-in is located on the second floor.
Refer to the flight information screens as you enter the terminal to find out where to check in. Make sure that you have a valid passport and necessary visa with you for your trip. Many destinations will require at least six months left to run on your passport.
No flight calls are made at Gatwick, so you need to check the television monitors listing flight departures for your boarding time and gate number. Boarding usually begins around 45 minutes before departure.
From the departures area these are the walking times to the gates:
Gate 45 5minutes / Gates 46-49 15 minutes / Gates 50-51 10 minutes / Gates 52-56 5 minutes / Gates 57-58 5 minutes / Gates 59-63 10 minutes.
Arrivals is located on the ground floor.
International connections do not need to go through Immigrations or Customs but all International to Domestic connections do.
Domestic to International connections can use the special Immigration check points if baggage is through-checked.

Gatwick Airport South Terminal
